my phallic symbol;

Hello hello! I'm back from this land called 'Muggers Land'. Its really tiring over there. There are trees full of books waiting to drop out, encyclopedia's (so old-fashion) that are thicker than the main pillar of buildings, teacher's that never stop teaching and little kids that do nothing other than study. Another week has passed, someone call the nurse!

It's been a really soggy week. My books got pretty much wet in the rain, and I'd thought my bag was waterproof. Damn, it sucks. I'm definetely out of place this year. I don't seem to be able to do things the correct way. I haven't gone out for 2 weeks, but it feels like ages. Lessons that stretch till the later part of the afternoon really are draining. MOE fail to understand that an average person's attention span last for only 27mins. Yet curriculum are planned in such a way that classes stretch for 3 hours and more at a time. And they expect us to understand everything? HELLO?! Wake up your idea!

"Cambridge" is officially the most used word this year. Every single teacher will mention this particular word at least twice during their lessons. "You know if you give this kind of answer, Cambridge will not accept it..." blablabla. Tales of the legendary people who decide the fate of young boys and girls, creepy.

Anyway, its kinda interesting seeing how all the CCA's compete to attract the Secondary One's to join their CCA. And they can't stop envying soccer. Basically every single CCA had a booth or some sort of promotion on CCA Fair Day, to try and get more recruits. We, soccer-fanatics, did not have to resort to such desperate measures. Even though the turnout was pretty bad this year (must have been the rain), we had like 40 juniors trying out for the C division team.

This post is getting pretty draggy, so till the next time I got something senseless to drone about.

Hatred comes from hearts
That have drowned their love
Enmity thrives in hearts
For whom God means no love.

War comes from hearts
That have dwarfed their brotherhood
Mayhem grows amidst faults
Unreconciled for the boom of good.

Forgiveness blossoms from hearts
That discover triumph in humility
Vendetta moulds around hearts
Like caves plundered by brutality.

When emotions trample over wisdom
We must step backwards and pause
For revenge is like a curse
It denies souls the triumph of freedom.
