Hello everyone! It's been a quite awhile since I posted anything worth reading on this blog. Have alot of things going on at the moment. Didn't have much time but today I can finally sit in front of this computer screen and express myself because an avenue in my life has been restored.
Thursday
Teachers' Day celebration at CCAB was just wet! Arrived at Terences' house around 7am to get a lift from his dad together with Paolo. When we arrived there, it was just pouring so we ran into this cafe (I guess so, HAHA) and ate...PRATA! Then we got umbrella's from Lester & Leroy and made our way to the stadium. It was quite 'stuffy' and just about everyone was grumbling about the situation they were in. We had to take a walk in the Botanical Gardens which really wasn't very ideal considering the weather but the teachers in-charge insisted on going ahead with the original plan. We spotted our form teacher Ms Chua on the way out and gave her the sunflower and card. Then I like sheltered her all the way with the umbrella, exhausting. Nothing exciting happened afterwards just afew pictures taken here and there and we were dismissed after 1hour trudging around in the rain. Headed off to Terences' house after that, ate lunch at a kopitiam near his house then slept for like 2hours. Woke up when the sister came back from school (when I was drooling on the pillow!!). Haha.
Monday
Start of the holidays' and my class had a BBQ! OK, I won't try to sound like a jerk, but it was a DISASTER! OMG! The weather really screwed up everything. Started drizzling around 6.30pm at YCK and we (actually only a few people) had a hard time trying to BBQ whatever food (which wasn't too bad cause` no one suffered food poisoning! HEHE) that could be found before it really started to pour. There were like two statues beside the pits holding umbrellas' to prevent the food from getting soggy! OH! I just remembered something so I'm squeezing it in here. Gary and Marcus frenched each other. EURGH SICK! Anyway, around 8pm we took the BBQ up to Leroys' house and I need to thank his MOM for really being very accommodating. Even fried for us those chicken wings that we hadn't BBQ-ed. That was basically the end of another "shitty" day for me. Sigh, not getting satisfaction that I so crave for!
Wednesday
Well, today had an SLC-Bonding Day exercise which was suppose to stretch until 4pm IN school. Terence, Xavier and I were late cause` we had breakfast at Lorong Lew Lian and like took our own sweet time. The day started off with some simple games like 'Polar Bear' and also shared more about each others' likes and dislikes. Then Mr.Foo asked us to split up into groups to do a little presentation on "Ingredients of a Good Team!" Afterwards, he asked us to make a decision to go either MacRitchie or Bukit Timah Reserve and also settle our lunch. I was so broke I didn't even think I had enough money to go home! HAHA! Lucky had sufficient funding! Decided to go Bukit Timah Reserve so we arranged to meet Mr.Foo there at 12.30pm but arrived earlier around 12.10pm. Had lunch with the food we bought. KKH and I finished a loaf of bread with chilli tuna spread within 15minutes? YEAP! Super hungry! Anywhere, set out for some simple obstacles before we were tasked to head to Dairy Farm Pass within the shortest possible time. I was highly criticial of the activity but as we moved on together, I appreciated the company I was in. We had to scale up this cliff which was quite nerve-recking but definetely exciting. It was quite steep and the moss on the rocks didn't make it any easier. The view from the top of the cliff was awesome, but the mosquitoes were ARGH!! City-brats. Haha. When I got home I showered twice just to get rid of all the dirt and everything.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH. After 1/2hr of blogging, I feel relieved. I still haven't shared what has been troubling me. It's quite complicated but anyway, I got through it and now I feel energised! WOOOHOOOOOOO!
